I still love my cat cup.
It is ever so cozy...

Hearts are breaking...

With sadness,
we just found out from Astrid, Kashim & Othello
that Upsie is no longer with us.
Upsie was one of the first cats my Lap Lady knew from Weekend Cat Blogging
and we have enjoyed the pictures and the stories of Upsie
for the past two years. Sundance also left us too soon
but now Upsie and Sundance are together again. From August 11, 2007 on Sher's Blog: What Did You Eat?

A Prayer for Animals

Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals,
especially for animals who are suffering;
for animals that are overworked, underfed and cruelly treated;
for all wistful creatures in captivity that beat their wings against bars;
for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put to death.
We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion
and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals,
and so to share the blessings of the merciful.

Temptations and Tummy Tuesday!

Every night Willow and I get to have some Temptations
for our Before Bedtime Treat!

Bravo for Temptations!
~~~~~
Sometimes we even start sitting in front of the Treat Cupboard
almost 2 hours before bedtime.
~~~~~
It doesn't really get us our Temptations any earlier
and it does kind of irritate our Dad aka The Big Janitor
because sometimes we get a bit vocal
regarding what we want - Temptations!

My Lap Lady thinks we are adorable,
even if we are being a bit irritating!
But for Tummy Tuesday I thought it would be a good idea
to show you me standing up as tall as I was able
to get my Temptations!

Hooray for toys!

I was playing with my feather bird toy
when my Lap Lady came in the family room.
I looked up to tell her what fun I was having!
That made her happy!
And I still love that catnip banana too! Hooray for toys!

Since my Lap Lady started having computer issues,
I am behind on some of the things that I wanted to post.

For Valentine's Day my Lap Lady bought me a heated cat cup!
Wow, was I ever surprised how warm it kept me
when I curled up in it! And I fit into it purrrfectly! What a happy girl I am!
Except I hope that my whiskers don't stay up...
