Those Eyes

Well, I just found out from Kashim & Othello that the optional theme for the Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos is "those eyes" and I have some eyes. My eyes are looking up at my Lap Lady imploring her for some of the ham that I know is in the refrigerator behind her. Hey, I think it's working -- she is opening the refrigerator to get my some ham! Sorry, I've got to go eat my ham now!
Purrrrrrrrrrs, ham, nom nom nom!
Wait??? What did you to me???
I'm not black & white, I'm golden ginger...
Oh, my Lap Lady was just showing off my golden eyes...
Make me golden ginger again, please!

Finally Friday Fun

At Gree and Othello's Wedding Shower, Willow and I won a snuggle made by DKM! It came in the mail a while ago but we didn't get to open it until recently. My Lap Lady wanted to make sure that she would have plenty of time to use the flashy box to forever record our excitement. I didn't care about recording the event forever, I just wanted to see what was in that envelope. I sniffed it and thought it smelled very interesting. That interesting smell was CATNIP! Not only did we get a Spumoni Snuggle and squiggles, but there was catnip all wrapped up in that Snuggle! I tried reaching in the envelope to make sure everything was out. Willow and I were so excited!
What a wonderful surprise for us. You can see how we looked at each other, we could hardly believe this was all ours! I was laughing as we rolled around on our new Snuggle while eating catnip.
Then I started playing with a squiggle.
Let me tell you, those squiggles are a lot of fun to play with!
Thank you DKM - I love this Spumoni Snuggle
and the blue squiggle is my favorite!
Sigh......what a wonderful day!

Cold Box Meme

I was tagged by Momma Grace, Ruse and Audace for the Cold Box Meme,
which was started by Miss Peach.
~~~~~
Here are the rules:
~~~~~
"A fun and simple MEME for the hot summer. Show us a photo of the front of your Cold Box and tell us about at least one thing on it and one thing you keep inside of it! Tag your friends and remember to stay COOL!"
~~~~~
I thought that I would start telling you about one of our Cold Boxes out here in the screened-in porch. I am sitting by a Cardinals hat because there are some Cardinals on and over our Cold Box. I am talking about the Cold Box that is in the garage, where the big machines that take us to the v-e-t live. (More to report about the evil v-e-t tomorrow!)
Here are pictures of the left side of our Cold Box and the front of our Cold Box. My Lap Lady started off just putting her St. Louis Rams magnets on and then she found some St. Louis Cardinals magnets too. My Lap Lady loves the Rams while the Big Janitor likes the Cardinals. So that's why there are Rams and Cardinals pennants over the Cold Box. My Lap Lady found the three beer pictures to surprise the Big Janitor because he calls the Cold Box the Beer Box - that's what it's mostly filled up with!
~~~~~
Now, of course my Lap Lady had to put some cat pictures up also. I think that if you biggify the picture you might be able to see but I also made some close-ups in the next pictures.
Here are close-ups of what was written on the Cold Box with the magnetic letters. Of course, they're all about cats! And a funny picture of Willow.In the next picture are some of the funnies that made my Lap Lady laugh.
Her favorite is the one in the middle where the kitty is telling the woofie,
"Eat, sleep, eat, sleep...I don't know how much longer
I can keep up this insane pace!"
~~~~~
On the bottom left is a magnet that we received from Samantha & Mr. Tigger for being the 10,000th visitor to their blog. On the right side is our magnet of Anastasia from The Cat Realm that we like to look at and remember what fun she was.
~~~~~
In the middle are pictures of two woofies - one is our neighbor and the other one lives with the grandma that lives near us. Grandma's woofie is on the left and her name is Carmen. We have never met her and probably never will, but she is still our woofie cousin. The neighbor woofie is called Chloe and we see her outside of our front window, but that's as close as we are going to get with any woofie!
~~~~~
I am going to tag Sweet Praline.
Easy Like Sunday Morning
After breakfast I did my patrol of the screened-in porch. It was very humid out this morning but I love the heat. However, after I went back in to the kitchen for some more breakfast, somebody shut the porch door. We aren't allowed to leave the door open when the cool air starts blowing out of those vents in the floor. Usually I am already out in the screened-in porch when the door is shut but today I was shut in the house. So I went into the living room to my current favorite napping spot on the rocking chair by the front window. This is a picture of Robby Rabbit that I snuggle up with in the rocking chair. Robby has black whiskers which match a few of mine! Later on I'll get to go back out in the screened in porch, but for now this is quite cozy!For all the other cat activities this weekend, check out the following:
Tail and Toesday
This is one of the places that I like to go to in my screened-in porch. There is a shelf in front of the kitchen window on the porch side where you could pass out food. It is usually too hot and humid to eat in the screened-in porch so no food is actually passed out from the kitchen. However, it makes a great spot to sit up higher and watch for chipmunks, rabbits and birds. I usually am on the couch but occasionally I like to get a different view. And in this position you can get an excellent view of my tail, which is always properly curled!
Not to forget, my toes too -- one curled and one not curled!
Thinking on Thursday
I think that I really like it out here in the sunshine.
I'm not really thinking about much...
Just enjoying a little sunshine meditation.
