Thankful Thursday and Awards for Me!

I had a very Thankful Thursday today.
My Lap Lady finally had some time to help me with my blog!
Whew - I can post about my awards that I received!

My Lap Lady has been kind of busy for the past week
because her parents drove all the way here from California
for her birthday last Monday.
I have been trying to finish her birthday card
so I can post it too!

But for now, here are my Awards:

Then I was proud to receive the "You Make My Day Award" from Charlie at Charlie's Dog Blog. Charlie is a wonderful dog who lives in Sydney. He wasn't feeling well for some time this month but yesterday he said he was feeling better! Hooray for Charlie!

Sweet Saturday - I received an award!

Like Willow, I hope that everycat is having a Sweet Saturday.

Today is "Sweetest Day" according to the calendar.
~~~~~
I found out that it started about 60 years ago in Cleveland.
A man thought that the city's orphans and shut-ins
were too often forgotten so he distributed small gifts to them.
Over the years others joined in.
Now it is considered a day for remembering others
with a kind act or small remembrance.
