Mancat Monday in a Box

Since it is once again Mancat Monday I believe that mancats should do whatever they want to do all day long.

I have found an empty box in my kitchen and how exciting is that?!?!? I choose to get right into that box and stay there as long as I want to be in it! It is now my box!

Windy Wednesday in a Tunnel

The small boys that come here to visit (aka my non-cat nephews) used to play with a Spiderman Tent and a long red tunnel. Now they like to play with other things so I have totally claimed both the tent and the tunnel.

Today I am showing how cool my Red Tunnel is when it is in my screened-in porch. It is tall enough for me to run through it and when I am inside of it I can actually see through it! Sometimes I just stay inside it and watch through it for random mousies and chipmunks to venture into my porch! It is also very good for blocking the wind now that Autumn has arrived!

TockTober Tuesday

I am so happy that is Autumn now. I like October because the weather is usually cooler - I prefer it not to be too hot when I hang out in my screened-in porch. Sometimes I find mousies, voles, chipmunks, and even birds there. I am not sure why they come into a porch where there is a mighty fierce hunter prowling around waiting for visitors!

It's almost Halloween and I sure do hope that I get lots of treats but I don't really like tricks! My first Halloween treat was this really cool Haunted House Cat Scratcher. My Food Lady brought it home and put it together for me! Meeeeeoooooowwww!

It's also TockTober which was started by Derby and two bunnies, Fiona and Lando, in 2008. He is now Angel Derby but everycat still likes to show off their tocks in honor of him. His brother, Ducky, honored him in a very nice post over at The Tabby Cat Club. Hmmmm, I'm a ginger tabby mancat so maybe I could join The Tabby Cat Club!

I really like my new Haunted House. It doesn't seem to be haunted but on the contrary, it seems to be a terrific house to sneak a nap!

And, here is a final tock shot of me walking down my hallway. I told my Food Lady that I have no idea what happened to that toilet paper roll. I think that she should clean up that mess!

Sleepy Caturday for Me

I went out in my screened-in porch a few times this morning. I didn't find any friends to play with and the sun was behind the clouds. So I decided to come back in and have some late breakfast.

 I thought that snuggling into my Food Lady's bed before she made it seemed like a great idea! I was so happy napping in the snuggly blankets until she found me and exclaimed how cute I was and then ran to get her camera! I looked up at her and smiled so I could stay in her bed. It worked and I am heading back off to dreamland! Purrrrrrrrrrs, everyone!

My Easy Like Sunday and 4th Sunday Selfie

Today I was having an Easy Sunday helping my Food Lady with my blog. I carefully tapped her on her leg to tell her that we still needed to take my Sunday Selfie. I have to be careful because I have very sharp mancat claws and it's almost time to trim then again. We do that the first of every month.

Wordless Wednesday What?????

Trimming Mancat Claws

At the first of every month my Lady trims my front claws. I am a very good mancat and I usually am very still on her lap. I have never tried to give her the bitey or scratch her when she trims my claws.

My Food Lady and Big Janitor Dad were out and away from the computer for way too long yesterday.

That is why I didn't get to post my 4th of July picture until today.

I really did not have sunglasses on my actual face 

but the flag bandana really was around my neck. 

I didn't even mind, probably because I am used to wearing my collar. 

I don't think that I would like wearing a full outfit with a hat.

My Easy E Sunday

Well, I looked out the window today and wouldn't you know that it was raining..... I usually love finding some nice sun puddles in my screened-in porch on Sundays. 

However, there were none to be found today. I looked around my house for something to do and found my feather wand toy in the living room, along with my green mousie and fun brown paper bag.

my Food Lady will chase the feather?!?!?!?!?

My 3rd Sunday Selfie

I have been practicing my selfies and I truly believe that I am getting better! Of course, I always look terrific but I am really trying to be a good photographer, kind of like my Food Lady.

Tummy Tail Toesday Today

In the afternoon I can often find a wonderful sunspot on my Food Lady's bed. She opens up the blinds so the sun can shine in and warm up the room. I love to stretch out on her lovely white furry blanket and snooze in the sunshine. I am becoming quite a big mancat with a floofy tummy and a very long tail!

I am beyond cozy here in my sun puddle!

It's my Birthday and I have been having fun all day. I've been playing with toys, napping in my tent out in the screened-in porch and my Food Lady says she has some special treats for me later. They are called "appetizers" for cats! I am so excited and then I get to open my presents too!
