Valentine Tip from Kimo and Sabi!

I got this great tip from Kimo & Sabi today.
They suggested putting up Valentine's cards early
so here is one that I made for Fudge Ripple.

Mardi Gras Pet Parade Today!

Today my Lap Lady and the Big Janitor were talking
about a Mardi Gras Pet Parade.
That's where all the (mostly) dogs
and some other animals
get dressed up in purple, gold and green
and walk in a parade.

So my Lap Lady still thinks
that I can possibly be dressed up.
Not a chance!!!
She even brought out these spotty feathers
to drape around my neck.
I have to warn Willow about this!!! I did not entirely cooperate -
that is until she gave me some ham
and threw the feathers on me for a quick picture! I can see this will not end today.
I already spotted a pink feather boa with hearts
that may have something to do with me also.

and Carnival of Cats is at When Cats Attack.
So, it's time to visit all those cats!

Fudge Ripple is my 2nd Valentine!

Fudge Ripple said that he would be my Valentine too!
I found by visiting that he likes to eat alot of foods
from different restaurants
so I'm hoping that he gets some
of his favorite foods for Valentine's Day!

Taps is my first Valentine!

Sunshine Toesday

As usual I found some sunshine to sleep in.
And then, as usual, my Lap Lady found me
and thought I looked all cozy and warm in the sun.
Of course that meant she had to get the flashy thing.
But there was no flash at all.
I was looking up in surprise... But right away she did something
to the flashy thing,
and this time it flashed.
I like the first picture better anyway!
However, you can see my sharp nails
sticking out on both pictures!
I may have to use them - ha ha ha!Whatever, I'm going back to sleep!

Phil Says Spring is Right Around the Corner!

Phil's official forecast as read 2/2/07 at 7:28 a.m. at Gobbler's Knob:

El Nino has caused high winds, heavy snow, ice and freezing temperatures in the west.
Here in the East with much mild winter weather we have been blessed.

Global warming has caused a great debate.
This mild winter makes it seem just great.

On this Groundhog Day we think of one thing.
Will we have winter or will we have spring?

On Gobbler's Knob I see no shadow today.
I predict that early spring is on the way.
