Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is my Gotcha Day!

Hooray! 

It's my Gotcha Day today!

And it's Willow's 8th Birthday too!

In 1997 while hiding under a bush I saw my Lap Lady for the very first time. I was just a 6 month old kitten and I meowed very loudly as she was walking into her office. She picked me up and took me into her office with her. I was cold and scared but she put her sweater in a box and put me inside and covered me up. I went home with her to my forever home 15 years ago!

My Lap Lady still covers me up with blankets to make me cozy! 

I am a very lucky lady cat, indeed!

Our Secret Paws Gift is Here!

Willow and I are so excited that our Secret Paws gift is here! Look, it's almost as tall as me! Willow and I have been wondering what could possibly be in that big box. Willow has been guarding it by sitting on it. My Lap Lady said that we can't open it until Christmas.

Hey, Lap Lady, it's Christmas Eve.....

May we open it today?!?!?!?

Pleeeeeaaaassse!!!!!

You don't really mean "no" or do you?

All right, I guess that we can wait for one more day! 

But we are just so excited!

Not as warm as I hoped!

Sometimes it looks like a nice warm day when I look out the sliding glass door to my porch. Willow and I went out to enjoy some fresh air.

We were both surprised that it was quite a bit cooler and windier than we expected. I did find a nice sunspot to nap in for a little while. Willow went right into her tent. We stayed out for a bit and then went in the house for lunch. I will continue my nap in bed!
