My Gotcha Day is Today!

I almost forgot that today is my Gotcha Day!

My Lap Lady found me outside of her office February 13, 1997. I was about 6 months old and I was hiding under a bush, mewing like crazy. She took me in her office and put me in a copy paper box, lined with her very own black sweater. You can imagine how my ginger fur stuck to that black cashmere-type sweater! But it was OK with my soon-to-be Lap Lady. She went home and got Samantha's PTU - she is the One Who Came Before Me! She put me in the PTU and drove back home and I have lived there ever since.

Samantha, aka Sammawow, didn't like me too much as I was just a kitten and she was used to having the house to herself. But I liked her and always tried to get near her. After she got very sick in 2004 and she went to the Bridge, my Lap Lady came home with a surprise for me. My Big Janitor kept saying that I needed a kitten and my Lap Lady agreed. She went to the Humane Society May 1, 2004 to get Samantha's ashes and she found a little dilute calico kitten.

You have probably guessed - that kitten was Willow! I have loved her ever since she came here and you have certainly seen that we love being together. In fact, exactly seven years after my Gotcha Day was Willow's birthday!
So today Willow is five!
And we will certainly be celebrating!
