Today would be China Cat's 17th birthday but she ran off to the Bridge last month, on July 30th. I wish that I could have known her longer than 3 months but she taught me quite a few important cat beliefs. Such as always making sure there is plenty of food in the house and enjoying treats as often as possible. At the very least, be sure to get your 9:00 treats before everyone goes to bed! Plus whenever boxes are in the house, they belong to cats. When Food Lady put all of my canned stinky goodness in the cupboard I got to play with the food box. Since I'm hiding you probably can't see me, right?!?!?!?

This picture was taken of China Cat & Willow on Willow's 9th birthday so I thought today, on China Cat's birthday, would be a good day to post it. Willow ran off to the Bridge on March 30th. I never met Willow but China Cat loved her, so I do too! I hope that China Cat & Willow are having fun celebrating China Cat's birthday at the Rainbow Bridge. Now I have to go snuggle with my Food Lady because her eyes are leaking.....

Oh Spike we are so sorry that China Cat could not celebrate 17th purrday in purrson. We can understand why this is particuarly sad for your Food Lady. Not just China Cat but also Willow loss. We understand that all the "firsts" will trigger sadness but we know you will do your very best to help ease the sorrow for the Food Lady. We are sending out lots of healing purrs, and we do wish China Cat a very happy purrday at the Bridge,we are sure our Abby is there helping her celebrate (Abby just got her wings on August 12,2013)

It is sad when the Food Lady's eyes are leaking. Our Maw's eyes have leaked a lot this year as well.
