Secret Paws 2014

I was so thrilled to find out that I would be exchanging presents for Secret Paws with Pansy, Maxie and Mr. B at http://hevensentmecat.blogspot.com

My Big Janitor Dad went to the kitty store and found lots of toys to send to my Secret Paws. I had to make sure and snoopervise all the presents before they were put in the box to be mailed.

After inspecting all the presents and helping with the wrapping I had to climb in the priority mailing box to make sure that everything would fit. And, HOORAY, we got the right size box. We even added some extra catnip to the box before mailing so Pansy, Maxie and Mr. B would know it was a present for them!

Then I received a box in the mail from my Secret Paws: 

Pansy, Maxie and Mr. B. However I had to wait until Christmas 

to open my package.

Mancat Monday

Well, it's almost Christmas and it's Mancat Monday today. It has also been raining all day so I did not enjoy my screened-in porch so much. It's just a dark and stormy day.

I thought that I would go visit some friends and update my blog but my Food Lady is still using my Mancat Laptop. Hmmmph!

Whenever I want her to do what I want her to do then I sit right in front of her and keep tapping her with my paw. If the paw doesn't work then I might have to take a bit of a bitey on her sweater. Sometimes I even have to pat her on her face with my paw while I stand up real tall so I am the same height as my Food Lady, who is sitting on the couch. Well, at least we had time to get one picture of me up on my blog today.

I wanted to post that my Secret Paws present has been mailed and later I can post the packing pictures. I sure hope that my Secret Paws enjoy their presents! I liked all of them!

A Gray Toesday and Tailsday

The weather here has been very gray outside. There are lots of clouds and not much sunshine. I love to go out to my screened-in porch but without many sun puddles I think that I will stay inside on my favorite stool. I can nap here and then look out the window for bunnies, birds and chipmunks under the front bushes.

And not to forget, it is Toesday Tuesday and just look at my ever-so-pink toesies! Oh, my striped tail is right by my right leg too!

Friday Fun and a Flashback

Well, here it is Friday and I just thought that I would hang out on my sleeping bag with some toys. That way I can start playing right away after my nap!

Look at all my toys up here on the couch with me. I have a mousie that is filled with yummy catnip, a wand toy and my yellow ball. Plus I get to nap on my so snuggly sleeping bag!

Don't you think that they look so sweet snuggled up on their Christmas Blanket. This was from February 10, 2013, three days before Willow's 9th birthday. I believe that China Cat and I look a bit alike! And look, Willow has a bit of ginger on her too!

Relaxing on Labor Day

Angel China Cat's 17th Birthday Today

August 31st would have been China Cat's 17th Birthday. 
I was brought here as a kitten to be friends with her after her Sweet Willow went to the Rainbow Bridge. China Cat was very sad so I tried to play with her and make her love me too. Sadly, China Cat was only here for three more months before she went to the Rainbow Bridge. I like to think about her and Willow happy to be together again.

China Cat loved the sunshine and I loved being with her!

At mealtimes we would wait in the kitchen for our Food Lady to bring us our breakfast and dinner. Sometimes even treats! And real tuna for birthdays!

By July I was getting bigger than China Cat!
I miss her but I have fun playing with my Food Lady now.

This was China Cat when Willow was just a kitten in May of 2004. She sure did get way bigger than China Cat. Willow was the sweetest ever big cat and China Cat was so happy to have a kitten to love!

Thankful Thursday

Whenever I need to rest a bit out in my screened-in porch 

I love to nap in my white porch chair. There is a nice couch out here where China Cat used to nap every day but I love my chair!

My Mancat Monday

I am a big and brave Mancat! 

Out in my screened-in porch my Food Lady left a Big Huge Black Spider! 

Wow - my very own spider to play with out in my screened-in porch!

I found it fascinating when I discovered it on the Pelican Pier on the picnic table. I took it over to play with on my favorite porch chair.

 

I love playing with my big spider!

My Food Lady thought that I was so cute that she made up a special picture of me playing with my spider. I can't wait to play some more!

Easy Like Sunday

I really love staying outside in my screened-in porch. This is my favorite chair to sit on while I am out there. 

I like to look at all the birds, bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks.

What a nice summer day!

Easy Like Sunday in May

I am so happy that the rain has stopped and the sun has come out. It's time for an Easy Sunday in one of my favorite places to be -- my screened-in porch. See I have my very own couch to relax on a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Willow's 10th Birthday and China Cat's Gotcha Day

Today would have been Willow's 10th Birthday. 

She went to the Rainbow Bridge last year on March 30, 2013. My Food Lady still miss her so much that she wanted to post the pictures she took of her and her 3rd Birthday Cake... Willow's Birthday was also China Cat's Gotcha Day. My Food Lady found her at her office in 1998 when China Cat was about 6 months old. She went to the Rainbow Bridge last year on June 30, 2013. She is also missed very much!

 sMy Food Lady is so happy to have me here now. I just turned 1 on January 30th and my Food Lady says that I am a very loving and playful classic ginger tabby.

So it was finally my birthday
and I couldn't even use the computer
to show all the fun that I had on my birthday.
My Food Lady made me a beautiful cake
that is like a caricature of me. I slept on the big bed for a while with China Cat
and she washed my face for me
so that I would look wonderful in my birthday pictures. It snowed on my birthday
and I went outside to look at it
and actually sat down in the snow
in my screened-in porch. China Cat and I were each given
the leftovers of tuna cans.
I had decided that I wanted tuna
for my birthday dinner
so my Food Lady chose
to make a Tuna Noodle Casserole
for their dinner.
The Big Janitor really likes that Tuna Noodle Casserole.The tuna was so good but I actually had to do a lot of washing
after to get every tuna taste! The last part of the birthday evening
I was given very fresh catnip -
Here am I rolling and loving every nippy smell of it!

Today is Groundhog Day

I was really hoping that the groundhog named Phil would tell me that Spring is on the way. My screened-in porch is too cold to stay out very long watching birds and squirrels. Then I realized that you cannot read what was written

by my picture so here it is:

Hey, Everyone! Guess What???????

It's my birthday today and I am now One Year Old!

I am officially a Cat and no longer a Kitten!

I am just so excited to be a Cat! My Food Lady told me that for my birthday today I will get some special birthday treats. They are called Fancy Feast Appetizers and she always bought them for China Cat and Willow when it was their birthdays. I can't wait to taste them! I will also get some presents tonight! I hope that I get some catnip toys!!! I love catnip!!!

I have a little purple ball that I like to get wet in the water bowl. Then I take it and drop it, all cold and wet, at my Food Lady's feet. She picks it up and throws it down the front hallway toward the front door. I run like the wind after it and bring it back to her to throw for me again! It is so much fun! We have been playing this game for about 30 minutes this morning! I am already loving my birthday and I love when my Food Lady plays with me!

I thought everyone would like to see some birthday pictures of China Cat and Willow, the Cats Who Came Before me. I wish they were still here and my Food Lady really misses them. I'm glad she brought me here last year and I know that I make her very happy. I think I will let her throw my purple ball some more before she has to go to work!
