It's Squillion Day!!!

We were trying to get the family picture going here
but I had to make sure
that everything was all right on each side.

OK I know that I was supposed to allow Charlie,
my Squillion, in the picture
but I had to check out
the other side of the room first...
I think that we have
a good family photo here!!!!!
Well, close enough!!!

Laundry Day Lesson

I have discovered that it is always best
to choose the laundry basket that is full
and preferably with fresh-from-the-dryer clothes.
~~~~~
(Note that I am in the full blue basket
and the green one next to me is fairly empty.)
~~~~~
Jump in quickly and close your eyes and
look cute and you'll probably get to stay in there.
This is the part where my Lap Lady always
goes to find the camera and tells me how cute I am!
And with any luck it will be a busy laundry day
so then you can jump into each basket
as comes warm from the dryer.
~~~~~
I love being warm and cozy!
Friday Ark has boarded,
Kate in the Kitchen is hosting Weekend Cat Blogging,
and Carnival of Cats is at Scribblings
So, it's time to visit all those cats!
I am a member of the Pink Ladies!
I received the official news
that I am now a member of The Pink Ladies!
And so is Willow!
I am so excited that I even accepted
that the pink feather boa is part of my life now...
Maybe I am getting used to it.
Anyway, Willow and I are going to dream
about all of the fun and good works
to look forward to in the Pink Ladies Club.
Cousin Alice's Mardi Gras...
As I mentioned before, I am done with this holiday. There will be no more feathers, hats, masks or anything else that I will be fighting off. OK, I kind of like the pink feather boa - in fact, I like it alot!!!
~~~~~
~~~~~
So I give this post to Cousin Alice, who doesn't mind wearing feathers and tiaras! First the feathers and...
Then the tiara!
Willow's Birthday...
Well, I guess that we are finally done
celebrating Willow's birthday.
She wanted it to go on and on.... But she is three now.
One of the greatest things about her birthday
was that we both got tuna.I do so love tuna -
maybe not so much as ham but a close second!
I ate my tuna from the can... and now it's time to go take a nap.
Willow ate more tuna
so she has alot more washing to do still...
Mardi Gras Pet Parade Today!
Today my Lap Lady and the Big Janitor were talking
about a Mardi Gras Pet Parade.
That's where all the (mostly) dogs
and some other animals
get dressed up in purple, gold and green
and walk in a parade.
~~~~~
So my Lap Lady still thinks
that I can possibly be dressed up.
Not a chance!!!
She even brought out these spotty feathers
to drape around my neck.
I have to warn Willow about this!!!
I did not entirely cooperate -
that is until she gave me some ham
and threw the feathers on me for a quick picture!
I can see this will not end today.
I already spotted a pink feather boa with hearts
that may have something to do with me also.

Sunshine Toesday

As usual I found some sunshine to sleep in.
And then, as usual, my Lap Lady found me
and thought I looked all cozy and warm in the sun.
Of course that meant she had to get the flashy thing.
But there was no flash at all.
I was looking up in surprise...
But right away she did something
to the flashy thing,
and this time it flashed.
I like the first picture better anyway!
However, you can see my sharp nails
sticking out on both pictures!
I may have to use them - ha ha ha!
Whatever, I'm going back to sleep!

Phil Says "Spring"!!!!!

Greetings from Punxsutawney!

Phil Says Spring is Right Around the Corner!

Phil's official forecast as read 2/2/07 at 7:28 a.m. at Gobbler's Knob:

El Nino has caused high winds, heavy snow, ice and freezing temperatures in the west.
Here in the East with much mild winter weather we have been blessed.

Global warming has caused a great debate.
This mild winter makes it seem just great.

On this Groundhog Day we think of one thing.
Will we have winter or will we have spring?

On Gobbler's Knob I see no shadow today.
I predict that early spring is on the way.

~~~~
This picture was taken of me looking out the window with Willow. This is what Spring looked like last year. I am so glad Phil said Spring is almost here!
~~~~~

Hooray for Sunshine and Warmth and Phil!!!!!
