My Secret Paws from Kimo & Sabi

I had so much fun opening my Secret Paws presents!
They came all the way from Kimo and Sabi. I had written in the Secret Paws information about what I liked, which was catnip, blankets and Temptations and my favorite color was blue or green.

Guess what???
Kimo & Sabi sent me everything that I hoped to get!
There was even a wonderful card
with a pretty white kitty on the front.

Look, there is a whole huge bag of catnip! It was wrapped up in the lovely red paper, which I rolled around on for a little bit since it smelled ever so catnip-py!

I had to remind Willow that she was supposed to be
watching me open my presents.
But I let her know that I would share with her too. Then I found the bag of Dairy Temptations!
My Food Lady opened that bag and even let me take some out by myself!

That was a treat, indeed!
She didn't let me eat all of the Temptations
but I sure got more than I normally do! After enjoying the Temptations,
my Food lady put a Christmas collar on me
while I was happily looking at my lovely blue blanket.
It is incredibly soft and even has a tag on it
that says, "Made especially for you" so it really is mine!

First of all, since it is Toesday Tuesday I thought I had better make sure my toes were clean. I jumped up on top of the computer, thoroughly cleaned my toes and curled up my lovely tail. Then I counted out the 6th Folder and found the 6th Picture. This picture was taken June 26, 2007. Willow and I were looking out the sliding glass door when much to our surprise we saw a chipmunk run by! Right inside of our screened-in porch! We started wagging our tails back and forth and made "mrrrrrrr" sounds. I was sure that my Lap Lady would open the door for us to go out and play with that chipmunk. We were so excited but it was not to be - my Lap Lady would not open that door for us. In fact, she went out to the porch through the garage door and left the porch door open until that chipmunk finally figured out how to escape. We didn't get to play with that chipmunk but we sure did have fun sniffing all the chipmunk smells after we were finally let out!

Sleepy Me

I have been sleeping in bed all weekend. I didn't get any help with my blogging since Thanksgiving so I decided that I would just go to bed. Hopefully, this week will be more fun for me.

Tummy Toesday Today with Purrs

I like to lay under the table here sometimes. It's right in front of the cabinet where the treats are stored. And this makes a pretty good tummy picture today. I don't usually show my tummy because I'm usually curled up. But today it's Tummy Time! What was that noise?
Is someone coming in here to give me treats??? OK, it's not time yet...
But I have time, I can wait...While I'm waiting for treats,
I will do some purring for some of my friends
that aren't feeling well. Some others that need purrs and prayers can be found here.

Fierce Fighter Friday

It's Fierce Fighter Friday today, which is sponsored by Whiskers and Purrs. The One Who Came Before Me was Samantha. She lived with my family from 1990 until 2004. Samantha loved my Lap Lady and my Big Janitor very much. She did not like anyone else except my two-legged sister and her husband. Everyone else she hissed at and then ran away. My Lap Lady found me at her office when I was about 6 months old in February of 1997. Samantha was used to being an only cat and I always wanted her to love me. She was not very friendly to me most of the time but I kept trying to get close to her. In 2004 Samantha kept getting thinner and my Lap Lady and Big Janitor were very worried about her. This picture was taken on the last day that she was at home and she was with her very favorite mousie toy. When she went to the Bridge I was about 8 years old and my Big Janitor kept saying that I needed a kitten. Willow came to live with us when my Lap Lady went to the Humane Society to get Samantha's ashes and found Willow there. She was only 6 week's old then. I was so happy to finally have a cat who loved me and I have always loved her as my very own kitten.

Toesday Today!

I finally got some time for blogging today!

Since no one has been helping me blog,
and the weather has gotten colder,
I have spent a lot of time curled up.
However, I did stretch my toes out as it's Toesday!

It's Halloween
and I plan on going trick-or-treating for some Temptations! I hope that everyone has a Happy Halloween and if you scroll down to the previous post you can see what my squillion, Charlie is doing for Halloween!

China Cat told me that squillions are eligible to enter this year's Halloween Contest! I was so excited that I rushed over to our Halloween Costume Box and found my Red Devil Costume. Normally I am a ginger tabby squillion but look at me now... I am a Red Devil with long black hair, a natty bow-tie and a long red tail! I called over to Sadie Katie, who is Willow's squillion to find a costume for the contest. She found a most excellent witch's costume to wear and I think she looks very witchy, indeed! Then we gathered around the table with our friend, BC the Magical Black Cat and all three of our wooden cat friends. We lit the Halloween tree and had such a time telling spooky stories. We were even joined by three gargoyles and some brilliantly colored spiders. We hope that everyone has a magical Halloween like we are having!

'Tocktober-Fest for Derby

Today is Derby's 5th birthday and 'Tocktober Fest.
Here is my card for Derby...
And I got to go outside in the backyard
to get some really good 'tocks pictures... What a nice day to go outside... My Lap Lady knew I would keep walking away from her
and then she could get lots of 'tocks shots of me! This tree smells very interesting...Maybe there are some mousies under there...
No, I don't want to go in yet...

Easy Like Sunday Morning

My Lap Lady couldn't believe her eyes when she came into the family room. She had been wearing her teal colored shirt over another shirt but it got warm so she left it on the couch. I jumped up and pushed it up with my head and went under it until my head came out the other side. My Lap Lady laughed when she saw that I had covered myself up with her shirt! I then had a very nice nap.
I was quite cozy, I must say!

I was so happy to still find some sunshine here in October.

They Are Back Home Again!

They are home again!

My Lap Lady and my Big Janitor finally came back home! My Pet Sitter was wonderful and she even left a nice note about how good we were and how much I talked to her but now my Mom and Dad are back home again! Willow and I both slept all snuggly and cozy on my Lap Lady's legs all night long!

Too Sad Tuesday

I haven't been able to visit much or blog much because...I can't believe this happened...but my Lap Lady and the Big Janitor left us all alone...since last Wednesday!!!

I have been doing a lot of sleeping in various places. I found this most excellent place for napping on our afghan between the Big Janitor's guitar and my Lap Lady's reading material. We sent China II and Willow II in their suitcase
so we can find out why they left us. We have a very nice Pet Sitter who lives next door to us. She comes over and feeds us every morning and evening and she even gives us treats but it's not the same. She has a nice woofie named Chloe that we watch out of the front window when she goes for a walk. Sometimes I can smell that woofie on our Pet Sitter. My Lap Lady thinks that she is a very nice woofie.

I guess that I will just nap some more here while waiting for my Lap Lady to come home. China II and Willow II think that they will all be home tomorrow. I certainly hope so!!!

BKCFOC: Fall Theme

Time for the Bad Kitty Cat Festival of Chaos #62.

Mr. Tigger is hosting at The M-Cats Club and has suggested a Fall Theme and I looked outside this morning to see if it looked like Fall yet. Well, the remnants of Hurricane Ike arrived here and it was raining all night and it is still raining now. I went out to look around and it was only 60 degrees. I'd say it is very Fall-like here today. The leaves have just started to turn colors but I am a very lovely orange-ginger color which you see a lot of in Fall!
