Our Secret Paws Gift is Here!

Willow and I are so excited that our Secret Paws gift is here! Look, it's almost as tall as me! Willow and I have been wondering what could possibly be in that big box. Willow has been guarding it by sitting on it. My Lap Lady said that we can't open it until Christmas.

Hey, Lap Lady, it's Christmas Eve.....

May we open it today?!?!?!?

All right, I guess that we can wait for one more day! 

But we are just so excited!

Not as warm as I hoped!

Sometimes it looks like a nice warm day when I look out the sliding glass door to my porch. Willow and I went out to enjoy some fresh air.

We were both surprised that it was quite a bit cooler and windier than we expected. I did find a nice sunspot to nap in for a little while. Willow went right into her tent. We stayed out for a bit and then went in the house for lunch. I will continue my nap in bed!

China Cat Sunflower is 15 today!

Hooray! It's my birthday today and I am 15!
The sun is shining and I am going to stay out in the screened in porch all day long with my friend, Larry the Lamb. He even put on a birthday hat to celebrate my birthday! I was thrilled that I don't have to wear a birthday hat! I hope that Willow will come out and relax with us - she doesn't like the heat as much as I do and it is supposed to get very hot this afternoon.

Willow and I get to share some Fancy Feast Appetizers (White Meat Chicken Appetizer) and for dinner we get Fancy Feast Grilled Tuna Feast in Gravy! Maybe I'll even get some new toys! Birthdays are such fun!

I thought that since it was raining this morning I would go back to bed. I forgot that it was the 4th of July today because we had so much rain last night I didn't hear many booming fireworks. We did hear some booming thunder, however!

Suddenly, my Lap Lady was in the bedroom opening up the blinds. I sat right up and much to my surprise, she put a red, white and blue cape on me! Then a very festive and patriotic hat was placed on my head! Well, I knocked that hat right off my head
and on to the floor... Hmmmm, my Lap Lady put it back on my head.
I figured if I let her take my picture then I can
get back to my napping!

Is Spring Really Here?

Some days it feels like Spring but then it goes and snows again...

Every day that it is nice outside I head out to the screened-in porch to enjoy the sun on my fur. The flowers are blooming and it smells wonderful and I really hope that Spring is here to stay!

Wordy Wednesday Challenge 2011

I love to snuggle in my ginger tabby cat bed and in my green plaid cat bed
and in my pink cat bed...

I also love to snuggle in our Christmas Gizzy Quilt
and the crocheted Snuggly blankets...

If I don't feel like snuggling in any of those then I just go into my Big Janitor Dad and Lap Lady's room and jump up on their bed. That is the most excellent place for me to snuggle because my Lap Lady always covers me up with her very snuggly soft white blanket.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention my favorite place, when it's cold,
is to snuggle on my Lap Lady's Lap underneath a cozy blanket!

Now, you know why Snuggly is my Word!
And everyone knows I love to snuggle with Willow!

Toesday Tailsday Today

When it's cold I love to snooze away under a nice warm blanket in bed. Anytime my Lap Lady finds me on the bed without a blanket, she covers me up. Sometimes part of me sticks out of the blanket when I rotate
and look... there's my toes and tail. Hey, I didn't know you were out there!
Cover me up so I can go back to my lovely nap!

And Huge Thanks for all of the purrs and prayers for Willow while she wasn't eating. She had to go to the v-e-t on Monday but last night the v-e-t called and had some good news. She does not have diabetes but he wants her to lose 3 pounds. You can read about it on her blog here. I'm just so happy that she is feeling better. She will always be my "kitten" and I love her! After she was at the v-e-t she went to bed. I went over and laid my paw on her so she would know that she was safe at home with me again!

I have been looking for Spring!
It has been so cold that I think that Spring should be just around the corner. It's not here yet but I'll keep looking...

I even had Willow come over to help me find Spring
but she didn't see it coming yet either...

I want to go out and sleep in my sunshine spot in the porch but maybe the sun will come out today and I can find a sunspot in the house.
P.S. I finally got to open up my Secret Paws presents
and my Lap Lady is getting all the pictures ready.
